Our Mission
The mission of the ALL Foundation (Accelerate Language and Learning Foundation) is to improve the independence and functioning in everyday society for people of all ages with complex language and learning disorders. We believe that improved understanding of language and the enhanced ability to communicate is the gateway to that objective. As such clinical study and improvement of evidence based treatment approaches (including the Visual Immersion System™ 1) is a primary objective of the Foundation. Because persons with autism and other developmental disabilities are drawn to electronic screen media we intend to explore the use of existing as well as create a broad range of state of the art technologies that will enhance learning, language acquisition, and skill acquisition. The efficacy of these new developments will be systematically studied and reported upon in peer reviewed journals. This research will be conducted in conjunction with programs providing services for individuals with developmental disabilities including Puddingstone Place (a company delivering clinical services with complex communication disorders). In its effort to defeat health inequities, the Foundation will provide financial support to persons who can benefit from the technology including new technological developments but have no financial means to acquire them.
